AERODROME AT RUAPEHU.
INSPECTION.
The possibility of establishing an aero'drome near the Chateau Tongariro, National Park, has been further investigated recently by Mr. F. C. Chichester, the Wellington airman, and Mr. E. W" Nicolaus, the manager of the Chateau, at the request of the directors of the Tongariro Park Tourist Company, Limited. The ground within a radius of ten miles of the Chatoau has been thoroughly inspected, and Mr. Chichester expressed the opinion that the schemo was worth continuing.
Before anything definite is done, the ground will have to be surveyed, and then cleat ed. Mr. Nicolaus said last evening ihftt All. Chichester would probnbly Ij&vq his aeroplano at Wanganui on July 3, when he might fly to the Chateau to take aerial photographs.
