DEATHS BY VIOLENCE.
ONE MAN CONDEMNED.
DISCHARGE OF ANOTHER. SYDNEY. Juno 21. Cecil Charles, who was convicted of tlio murder of his father at Windsor on April 15, was to-day sentenced to death. Charles denied the charge and declared that tho crime had been committed by some unknown madman. Tho Crown has decided not to proceed with tho charge of maliciously wounding tho late Bernard Dalton at Surry Hills on November 10 proferred against Frank Green, who has been discharged.
