OBSCENE LANGUAGE USED.
MAN JUST OUT OF GAOLV 1 Charges of being disorderly while drank, and using obscene language in Hobson Street or\ Friday, were admitted by George Thornham, aged 35, a fireman, in th» Police Court on Saturday, before Mr. K. Hunt, S.M. Senior-Sergeant Powell said there were several people present when accused used tho languago complained of, and he rer poated it several times. Ho had 66 previous convictions. The Magistrate: When was his last oue T Staff-Captain Holmes, of tho Salvation Army: He camo out yesterday. Accused was fined £5 on tho second charge, and was convicted and discharged on the other. Default of payment was fixed at 14 days' imprisonment.
