YACHT MOANA SOLD.
BOAT TO REMAIN HERE* The first-class keel yacht Moana, formerly owned by the late Mr. E. V. Miller, of Remuera, has been purchased by-Dr. W. Burns, of Timaru: The yacht will not leave Auckland, as it is the intention of her new owner to spend the yachting season on the Waitemata. He is a keen yachtsman and for some years past has visited Auckland during the summer months. The Moana was built 30 years ago by, Messrs. Logan Brothers for Messrs. W. R. and F. W. Wilson. She is in excellent order and has a large number of wins to her credit. Since being launched she has changed hands on several occasions. She will be put into commission next season and will be a, competitor in the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.
