DEAE BOYS AND GIRLS: ' ,1 havo been thinking a lot about you all this week, for Birthday month always seems to draw us closer together. It is so delightful to receive greetings and letters from boys and girls who joined as members immediately our page came into existence. You will bo interested, no doubt, to know that tho writing of dozens of boys and girls has become so familiar that I know who tho letters aro from before I even open tho envelopes! The principal items in our page to-day IB.re the Campaign notes, and Birthday month announcements, which I want you all to read carefully. Wo also extend a -welcome to a large number of new jnembers, and I hope wo shall often see their names on this page. You will be pleased to know wo shall ■be starting our Fireside Competitions next week—there was so much to cram into our page to-day that there was no room for further announcements. Only a ,few lines to-day, as there is a long "Mail-Bag." Ti'ie first week we had very cold, cloudy weather, but on the seoond' Sunday we. had a glorioua day. Tho Pacifio Ocean was calm and clear. The golden sun 'shone and sparkled on the lapphire blue water. Air tho time we are
sotting'nearer-to the equator, but it baa not been much-hotter. Wo did not call at iPitcairn Island,, and I was rather disappointed."
