WEDDING.
DE BERG—ANDERSON'. St. Matthew's Church waa the scene or the wedding on Saturday evening of Miss Rose Anderson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Anderson, of Grey Lynn, to Mr. Norman de Berg, youngest son of Mr. A. de Berg, also of Grey Lvnn. The Rev. Jasper Calder performed tlie ceremony, and Mr. Philpott played the wedding music. Entering the church with her father, the bride wore a simple gown of ivory crepe satin. The long sleeveless corsage was draped at the hips, from which the flared skirt fell in soft'folds to the ground in front, ending in a train behind. A silver lace cap held the long tulle veil in place, ornamented with a coronet of pearls across the head and trail of orange blossoms. A sheaf of palest lemon-coloured roses, tied with tulle and silver ribbons, was carried. Miss Fay Brooking and Miss Ava Brooking attended as bridesmaids, and were dressed alike in frocks of absinthe green silk net, with corsages embroidered in silver beads. The bouffant skirts were composed of frills made of layers of silk net, and reached the ground all around. Their largo green crinoline hats were turned off the face and finished at the back with large velvet flowers. They carried sheafs of pink roses tied with silver ribbon. Mr. H. Flanagan was best man and Mr. Reg. Bennett was groomsman. Mr. Lawrence Bull and Mr J. Brooking were ushers at the church. ■ After the ceremony a reception and dance were held at the Tiffin, Queen Street, Mrs. Anderson receiving her guests in a gown of black satin beaute, relieved with white and white and black hat. She carried a posy of lily of the valley and violets. Sirs. | do Berg was frocked in black satin, with j black hat. and carried a posy of violets j and red roses.
