EPSOM CLUB. \ The 26th annual meeting of the Epsom Bowling Club was presided over by tlio president, Mr. C. J. Blakey. There was a largo attendance of members. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. J. B. Ramsey; senior vice-president, Mr. ,T. Wylio; junior vicepresident, Mr. J. McDougall; lion, secretary, Mr. J. Wright; lion, treasurer, Mr. E. Taylor; green superintendent, Mr. E. B. Burton; match committee, Messrs. E. Richmond, J. Wallis and F. Furnell; goneral committee, Messrs. M. Hooper, A. Peak, A. G. Clark, F. Furnell, J. Wallis, A. Gribblo; coach, Mr. J. Hayes; auditor, Mr. A. G. Clark; delegates to Auckland Centre, Messrs. ,T. B. Ramsey, T. P. ;George, W. T. Smith; reportor, Mr. 11. H. Wood. It was decided to entor for the penrfant competition this season. Trophies wore presented as follows: Championship, J. R. George; champion pairs, D. Dunlop and D. Gratton; run-ners-up, W. T. Smith and J. Wright; handicap singles, li. Richmond; junior singles, A. Gribblo; runner-up, F. Wilson ; first-year players, E. Stehr; president's fours, Howarth, E. Taylor, F. Furnell, D. Gratton. It was decided to hold a single entry tournament on Labour Day. ST. HELIERS CLUB. The annual meeting of the St. Heliers Bowling Club was presided over by the president, Mr. A. Twiname. There was a largo attendance of members. The report stated that though the club did not succeed in winning any of the Auckland Centre's competitions its members were well represented and showed good form. The balance-sheet disclosed that the finances were in a healthy state. Feeling reference was made to the loss sustained by the club through the death of two very popular members, Messrs. W. McLaren and O. W. Garrard. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. W. P. Endean, M.P.; president, Mr. H. L. Koefoed; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs. C. J. Lovegrove and A. Duthie; lion, secretary, Mr. H. Smith; lion, treasurer, Mr. A. G. C.ottrell; general committee, Messrs. A. Reed, 'l. Price and W. Philip; green superintendent, Mr. IT. J. Brewer; umpires, Messrs. J. Crawshaw and W. Philip; coach, Mr. T. Price; delegates to Auckland Centre, president and secretary: match committee, Messrs. H. Wright, P. Norris and P. White; auditor, Mr. J. W. Carr. It. was decided to enter 10 teams in the Auckland Centre's pennant competition. HALLIBURTON JOHNSTONS The annual meeting of the Hallyburlon Johnstone Bowling Club was held in the pavilion. The report stated the officeis and members had shown a "help yourself" spirit, the bowling green having been entirclv top-dressed since closing down. It was anticipated that the green would be ready for play by the end of July. Tho first-year team was runner-up in the competitions held at Easter time. The prospects of tho club looked bright for next season, nine members having joined up. The champion for the year was Mr 11.l 1 . Dyson, and tho runner-up, Mr. A. Neilson, last year's champion. Mr. Dyson holds tho championship cup donated by Mr. Hallyburton Johnstone for tho ensuing 12 months. Mr. Bromley donated a trophv to Mr. Dyson, and Sir. Phillips one to "last year's champion. The following officers wero elected:— Patron, Mr. J. S. Fletcher, M.P.; vicepatron, Mr. T. J. Mclvor; president, Mr. T. G. Storey; vice-presidents, Messrs G. Holdsworth, A. Neilson; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. A. Phillips; green superintendent, Mr. F. Dyson; committee, Messrs. Barton, Francis, Renton, Breckon, Boag; delegate to Auckland Centre, Mr. F. Dyson; match committee,' Messrs. Storey, Bromley, Boag: first-year coach and umpire, Mr. A. Neilson; reporter, Mr. F. Dyson; delegate to board of trustees of the Hallyburton Johnstone Sports Club, Mr. F. Dyson; management committee, Messrs. Holdsworth, Dyson, Boag, Phillips.
