TITIRANGI LADIES' CLUB. In the handicap match play tourney for the Ballin Cup, played by members of the Titirangi Ladies' Golf Club, the semi-finals have been reached. The second day of the North Auckland golf championship was held to-day in most adverse weather, heavy rain prevailing all day. The first round resulted as follows: — R. 0. Gardner beat Davidson, 6 up and 5; P. Gardner beat Jouneaux, by default; Tollis beat Guerin, 6 and 5; Gillespie beat Salvair, 2 up; Cumberworth beat Ramsey, 5 and 3; Morrison beat Christensen, 5 and 3; Buckley beat McLean, 5 and 4; Conaghan beat Maitland, 2 up. In the second round P. R. Gardner defeated R. 0. Gardner, 4 up and 2; Tollis defeated Gillespie, 5 and 4; Cumberworth defeated Morrison, 6 and 4; Conaghan defeated Buckley, 5 and 4.
