DEATH FROM INJURIES.
OPENING OF INQUEST, An inquest into the death of Mr. James Murray, aged 78, who died at the Auckland Hospital on Thursday, following severe injuries received when ho was knqeked down by a iriotor-car at Avondale on Tuesday evening, was opened by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday. _ Evidence of identification was given, and the inrjuest was adjourned sine die.
