KNOCKED DOWN BY TRUCK.
ELDERLY MAN INJURED.
Injuries to tho head wero received by an elderly man, Mr. Tilly, who resided at a boarding-houso in Symonds Street, as tho result of being knocked down by a motor-truck near St. Paul's Church, Symonds Street, about 9.45 last evening. Ho was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital by tlio St. John Ambulance. At an early hour this morning his condition was reported to bo fairly serious.
