A " surprise party," consisting of Messrs. W. P. Endcan and W. J. As one of the district's representatives in Parliament, he could say with confidence that tho district was well cared for and the handling of its affairs in Parliament was made smooth by tho fact that it had an extremely efficient town clerk.
