OBSTETRICAL FUND.
ONEHUNGA QUOTA EXCEEDED Pronounced success has rewarded the efforts of the ladies of Onehunga in raising the full share of tho district toward the obstetrical fund. Tho quota was fixed at £7O for the district, and the total amount raised is £74 13s. The Easter holidays caused ft delay in launching the scheme, and it is only this week that tho committee has been able to close the accounts, after achieving a success that has earned warm congratulations. Under tho chairmanship of tho Mayoress of Onehunga, Miss Edna Morton, with Mrs. J. Chapman as secretary and treasurer, the committeo comprised Mesdaines W. J. Jordan. A. G. Iloiildsworth, S. Yella, G. A. McKendrick, T. J. Wathew, and G. Pickering.
