As a sequel to tlie fatal accident which occurred 011 September 13 of last year, when a motor-car driven by. a youth, Roy Pankin Wallace, collided with a baker's cart driven by Mr. Andrew Mcßeath, who died next day as a result of injuries, a civil action was commenced in 1.110 Supreme Court, before Mr. Justice Kennedy and a jury. Plaintiff was deceased's, widow, Margaret Mcßeath, who sought 'to recover from Kov Pankin Wallace, the driver, and Fleming and Company, • Limited, owners of the car. the sum of £2500 damages in rospect of (he death of her husband. The jury returned a verdict for £1250 damages, £750 of that amount to go to the widow and £SOO to bo divided equally among the children. Mr. J. S.
