In the second round of tlio Davis Cup contest in th« match between Britain and Poland, Sharpo (Britain) beat Rpnlnroff, 6—3, 6—4, 6—l; Gregory and Collins (Britain) beat Tlogznski and Warminski, 6—o, 6—o, 6—o. Britain will meet the winner of the match between Ireland and Australia in tlio third round.
