BIELESKI—HINGE

The wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church by tho Rev. Canon Grant Cowen recently of Miss Marjorie Fruzan Ilinge, third daughter of the late Mr. Michael Ilinge and Mrs. Hinge, of Nortliolt, England, to Mr. Tracy Leonard Bieleski, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Reno L. Bieleski, of Newmarket. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. C. J. Hinge, wore a gown of white georgette with a tucked bodico and skirt of small frills falling in four points to the ankles. Her veil of Brussels lace fell from clusters of orange blossom at the back of the hei\d. Her sister, Miss Ivy Hinge, was in attendance, and wore a frock of rose pink crepe de chine with a tight-fitting bodico and skirt falling into points. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Maurice Casey as best man. Mr. J. Philpott played tho wedding music. The service was choral, the choir of St. Matthew's Church, of which both tho bride and bridegroom are members, taking part in it. Tho reception was held at the homo of Mrs. L. Ilosser, Epsom. Mrs. Hinge, wearing a frock of vieux rose crepe do chino, received tho guests with Mrs. Rosser, who wore a frock of brown charmeuse. Mrs. Bieleski, tho bridegroom's mother, wore a frock of bcigo satin beaute.

Tho marriage of Miss Gwendoline May Garland, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Garland, of Auckland, to Mr. Horace Oswald Melt-am, eldest son of Mrs. and tho late Mr. J. T. Mettaip, of Auckland, was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church recently. The Rev. Canon Grant Cowon officiated. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a flared frilled frock of crepo marquisette relieved with silver embroidery. Hor veil was held in place with a' coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums, carnations, sweet peas and maidenhair fern. in attendance were Miss Constance Gilhertson, cousin of the brido, and Miss Irena Harvey, cousin of the bridegroom. Thoy were gowned respectively in frilled frocks of rose pink and apricot tiiffotn. Their hats were of felt, and they carried shower bouquets of chrysanthemums to tone. The bridegroom's brother, Mr. John Mcttain, was best man, with Mr. Clarence Aldridgo groomsman. The breakfast was afterwards hold at Nairn's reception hall, where the bride's mother received her guests. Mrs. Garland wore a navy tailored costume with hat to tone, and the bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Mottarn, a frock of black georgette and lace with hat to match.

CRIBBLE—COOK

The wedding took place recently at King's School Chapel, llemuera Road, of Miss Leon Cook, youngest daughter of Mrs. A. Cook, of Sandringham, to Mr. Norman Cribble, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Cribble, of Heme Bay. Tim Rev. Mr. Castle performed the ceremony. Entering tho chapel with her brother the bride wore a frock of ivory satin and georgette. The satin corsago was slightly rucked from neck to waistline ami tho georgette skirt was made with double iantnil (lares forming an uneven hemline. Her embroidered veil formed a long train and was arranged off the forehead and caught on either side with clusters of orange blossom. A sheaf of white lilies was carried. Tho bridesmaids were tho Misses Evelyn Cook, Polly Gribble and Muriel Mcl'hail. Their turquoise bluo frocks were fashioned alike with closefilling bodices and frilled skirts falling to the ankles at tho back, and their headdresses were worn slightly off the forehead. They carried sheaves of pastel pink flowers to match those on their shoulders. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Laurie Sheen as best man and Mr. T. Heard as groomsman. After tho ceremony a reception was held at tho Domain Kjnsk, where tho bride's mother received her guests wearing a. frock of Java brown inarocaine and hat to tone.
