PLASTERERS' AWARD.

PARTIES REACH AGREEMENT.

An application by the fibrous plasterers' section of the Auckland Plasterers' Union to have tho present award reviewed was considered by a conciliation council yesterday, the conciliation commissioner, Mr. P. Hally, presiding. The application included an increased rate of wages, an adjustment of the working hours, and other alterations to the award. The union was represented by Messrs. 11. Carlton, N. Slrickett and 11. Rogers, while Messrs. I. Holmes, 11. V. Wallace and A. 11. Wigginton appeared for the employers. Tho workers' agent was Mr. J. Purtcll, while Mr. S. E. Wright was agent for the employers. The application was taken in committee and at the conclusion tho commissioner stated that a complete agreement between tho parties had been arranged, based 011 tho present award for the most part. Tho council's recommendations will bo forwarded to tho Arbitration Court in order to obtain a new award for the next two years.
