WORK FOR EX-SOLDIERS. [I!V TELEGRAPH.—OW'.V CORRESPONDENT. 1 )IA M J LTOX, Tuesday. lhe Hamilton Borough Council met this evening, the Mayor, Mr. J. It. Fow, presiding. The Waikato Returned Soldiers' Association's offer of £IOO for tho relief of unemployment was accepted. It was decided to subsidise the amount on a pound for pound basis, Tluj money will be spent in providing work for unemployed ex-soldiers. Iti was decided to bring (lie matter o[ overcrowding on the motor-buses running to Frankton under the notice of the traffic inspector. It was stated that many people had complained and many had refused (o ride in (lie buses. The Hamilton Kennel Club was granted the use of tho horse bazaar in Ward Street for its dog show on June 26 and 27.
