INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED.
FIRE IN WOODEN SHED.
OUTBREAK AT C.LAUDELANDS.
[BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Monday.
A large unoccupied wooden shed, the property of Major J. B. Whvte, of Claudelands, and situated in Hukanui Road, was found on fire at half-past ten to-night The Hamilton Fire Brigade suppressed tho outbreak before any serious damage was done.
The fire brigade superintendent, Mr. A. Craig, expressed the opinion that the fire was tho result of incendiarism, definite traces of kerosene having been noticed. Three empty bottles that had recently contained kerosene were found near the sceile of tho fire.
