GIRL GUIDES.
SOUTH AUCKLAND DIVISION.
An interesting event in the interests of Girl Guiding occurred in Hamilton last week when the various executives, committees and guiders met in the Wattle Tea Rooms ami celebrated tho first anniversary of tho formation of the South Auckland Division of Girl Guides. The divisional commissioner, Mrs. H. Toombs, presided, assisted by tho district commissioners, Miss McCormac (Ngaruawahia), Mrs. Teapo (Pukekohe), and Miss Schcrer (Hamilton). Pukekohe, Ngaruawahia, To .Awamutu. Cambridge, Morrinsville, Claudelands, Frankton, Hamilton, and VVaiuku were represented by committees and guiders. A lengthy toast list was accorded musical honours, Mrs. Barnett being at the piano. Mrs. Pinfold sang and Miss Osmers recited. The guiders sang camp songs and presented the play " Otiinai." Among those present were: Mrs. Toombs, Miss McCormac, Mrs. Teate, Miss Scherer, Mesdames R. Clark, Rollo, McNicol, Palmer, Pinfold, 11. Luxford, Shaw, Cob be, Barnett, Foster, Aithen, Nisbet. Lock, Davison, Williamson. Maclcie, Gibson, Buckland, De Montalk, Nealie, Miller, Morrow, Tait, Earle, Robinson, Wool lev, 11. Clark. Hubbard, Sncll, McKinnon, Seville, Walters, Anderson, Gane, Joy, Adams, Webb, Hill; Misses Osmers, West, Hammond, Paterson. Mandeno, Clark, Anderson, Shaw, Allen, Gerrish, Hewlett, Tomlinson, Middlemas, Levesque, Clavton-Greene, Ross, Robinson, Wyllie, Hill.
