YESTERDAY'S WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN SOUTH.
Auckland.—There was a continuation of fine, clear weather yesterday and the barometer Inst night registered 30.50 m.,. tho highest reading recorded since Marci 30.
Wellington.—The weather yesterday was perfect and conditions in the eu-n ing suggested a continuance. Christ church.—Yesterday, after 13.3 degrees of frost at night, was fine, bu there was more cloud than sunshine. There was no wind. The maximum tern porature was 59 degrees. The barometer remains high, but has fallen four points, tho reading this evening being 30. m The night was clear and cold. Dunedin.—The weather was again P er " feet yesterday. The sky was o\ei<j" s early in the morning, but. clouds t ett cleared and about six and a-half ho lll sunshine were recorded. The eta) practically calm. The barometer , very high and fairly steady, the p reading being 30.30 in.
