DANISH PRICE EQUALLED.

A check to the weakening tendency of the London butter market during the week was indicated in cablegrams received by Auckland merchants yesterday. The market was stated lo be firm, with prices not lower than 1.305, whereas on the previous day - the range for finest grade was given as 123s to 130s. Danish was quoted in yesterday's cablegrams at J3os to 132.5, the latter figure being equalled by exceptional lines of New Zealand butter.

Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated May B:—Messrs. Samuel Pago and Soil report:—Butler: Danish butter market quiet. Australian and New Zealand top quotations exceptional New Zealand, finest salted, 128s 1325; Danish, 130s to 1325; Australian, finest unsalted, 130s lo 1325; finest salted, 126s to 130s; good uveruge quality, 120s to 1245. Clicsjsc: The market i.i quiet. New Zealand, white, 82s to 84s; coloured, 86s to 88s; Canadam, white, 92s to 100s; coloured, 92s to 98s.
