JADE AND LACQUER BUDDHAS.
Tho Queen, who never fails to pay a visit to the exhibition of the Royal Amatuer Art Society, has sent an emerald reliquary, enamel and silver ecclesiatical plate from Cyprus, and jade and lacquer Buddhas for exhibition in the loan section which this year will consist of English and foreign specimens of ecclesiastical art. The King is lending a panel in petit point, and Princess Beatrice Limoges enamel and reliquaries Other objects with Royal associations pre the chalice given by Mary Queen of Scots to tho priest who married her to liothwell, and a rosary used by the same unfortunate Queen. A fifteenth-century Armenian Bible, which, has a remarkable binding, ami tho earlier known brass offertory box have been promised by their owners.
