A:: New Zealand delegate to the Naval Conference, Mr. T. M Wilford, .High Commissioner, received from the King a beautiful memento of the occasion in the form of a giainoplione record of Bis Majesty's speech. The record is encased in book form in a handsome dark' blue morocco folding cover, heavily padcleJ. On the outside are the Royal Arms, and
on tho lower left corner is Mr. Wilford s name in gold. Inside the cover is inlst a white card, on which is the Kings
own personal signature. Mr. A. C. Whitney and -Miss Whitnoy (Auckland) arrived in London on March 15. Since then Mr. Whitney has beon salmon fishing in Devon, but neither cm the Torridge nor on Lord Oi ford's wftt'ir at Rossmore, near Torrington, did he hnv® much luck. lie lias had anofler of the best beats on the River Wye, not ij'. from his father's old home, Galvarhil.l, which he sold 72 years ago Mi'.
