CHRISTMAS CARD CLUE.

TRACING HEIRS TO £9OOO. A Christmas card sent, to a distaut relative in America who died on Christmas Day—probably before the card arrived—by" a member of a Yorkshire family, may lead to several persons benefiting from an estate of £9OOO. The card was sent to Mr. Manvillo S. Hodgson, of Denver, Colorado. The administrators of the estate are endeavouring to trace his relatives, and the Christmas. card has proved a valuable clue. The Yorkshire family, of whom it is believed the principal members are Clara Dixon, of Hutton Cranswick, Mr. W. Dixon, of Filey, Mr. T. Dixon of Hunmariby—all elderly—are now tracing their connections. Mr. Hodgsyn is thought to be their half-cousin. His estate is valued at £9OOO, but in view of the number of relatives, the probability of anyone receiving a large share is remote.
