MUNICIPAL BAND.

A selection from the compositions of Sullivan will be rendered at the Town Hall this evening by the Municipal Band. Excerpts from the well-known Gilbert and Sullivan operas will be given, the productions chosen being "The Mikado," "The Pirates of Penzance," "The Yeomen of the Guard," " The Gondoliers " and "Patience." Other items will be the hymn "0, Gladsome Light,." and the overture "In Memoriam." Vocal items will bo given by Mrs. Laetitia Parry. To-morrow afternoon the band will play at the Zoological Park, the numbers chosen being of a varied nature. Notablo items will be selections from the operas of Offenbach and from Schubert's "Melodies." Panella's "Mothers of Democracy" and Dyke's "St. Oswald" will also be played.
