PRICES REALISED AT SALE.

In consequence of the daily farm on Lord Bledisloe's estate at Lydjiey, Gloucestershire, having been let, Messrs. Bruton, Knowles and Company conducted a sale of live and dead farm stock for the owner on March 21. Purebred Red Poll heifers made to £l9 10s for Lydney Stain 3rd, a yearling which was bought by Mr. H. Hinds; the best price for a horse was 32 guineas, given by Mr. J. Brockley for Dick, a Suffolk gelding. Tho trade on tho crossbred stock was very good indeed, crossbred heifers realising up to £26 ss, three-year-old barren heifers, to £26 15s, and rising two-year-old heifers to ,C3B a pair. The top price for crossbred Shorthorn heifers was £39 15s a pair, and heifer calves sold exceptionally woll up to £ll 5s each.
