WEDDINGS.

CORNISH —RAMSDEN. The marriage was celebrated at St. Mark's Church, Remuera, on Saturday afternoon of Miss Mary Ramsden, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ramsden, of Te Kauwhata, to Mr. Percy Cornish, of Point Chevalier. The Rev. G- C. Cruickshank officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, were a irock of ivory embossed chenille georgette, draped at either side of the skirt and falling in uneven folds to the ankles. Her embroidered tulle veil, which farmed a train, was arranged on the bend with a bandeau of cream petalled georgette caught at either side with clusters of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of pink and while chrysanthemums. In attendance as bridesmaids M;ss Mvrtie Ramsden and Miss Edna Sutherland. who wore frocks of peach georgette with tight-fitting bodices, from which tha skirts fell in full folds, dipping lower at the back. They wore silver Juliette caps and carried horseshoe bouquets of pini» and white carnations and roses. Little Heather Pulham, who was flower girl, was in a frock of peach georgette wit h a skirt of knife-pleated tiers. She wore a tulle headdress to tone and carried a gold basket of yellow and white chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Gordon McSkimmina as best man, and Mr. William Ramsden was groomsman.

BONNETTE—JOHNSON. St. Paul's Chtirdi, Symonds Street. was the scene of the wedding on Saturday evening of Miss Kitty Johnson, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Johnson, of 25, Grafton Road, Auckland, to .Mr. Thomas Henry Eonnette, of Heme Day, nephew ul Mr. and Mrs. T. Bloodworth, of I'arnell. The Rev. C. A. B. Watson performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a graceful frock wit.li a tight-fitting sleeveless corsage of ivory embossed satin and a full ankle-length si;:rt of frilled net. Her ivciy tulle veil, which formed a train, was bordered with tiler, lace and was arranged on the head witu a coronet of pearls caught, at either side witu small dusters of orange blossom. She carried a Victorian posy of whits chrysanthemums and pule pink carnations. Mrs. H. Baguall. sister of the bnde, wlio w;tj matron of honour, was in a frock of ruby rinc velvet., flared from the hips and tailing to the ankles, while the high waistlino was defined with a girdie of r.'itnestones. Over her frock she wore a shur. sequuincd coatee, and her close-fitting helmet hat was also of silver sequins. She carried a bouquet of deep red chrysanthemums. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Oiivo Jewell, who wore a frock of rubv georgette with a tiered skirt, which fell"to "the ankles at the back. A mi velvet girdle, which was worn above the waistline, was fastened in front, witu a brilliant buckle. Her picture hat of gold crinoline straw was finished at back with a long streamer of red velvet ribbon, and she carried a bouquet of red chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. William Blocdwnrth as best man. Acting as ushers vrer" Mr. H. Bagnall and Mr. W. Walters. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mrs. Johnsou receiving her guests in a draped rrock of coral pink georgette embroidered with diamante. She carried a bouquet of pink dahlias and chrysanthemums. -Mrs. T. Bloodworth. aunt of the bridegroom, was ia leaf-green georgette beaded in silver and carried a bouquet of pink flowers.
