Four men were Itilloil and two others seriously wounded by a wealthy merchant of Nepal at Maihar railway station, 60 miles from Jubbulporo.
Incensed because some passengers entered his compartment on a train the merchant ran amok with a rifle. First ho lulled two Indian policemen who were standing on the station platform. Then he fired into the compartment killing one man and wounding two others. lie killed a fourth man standing near the engine. Panic-stricken passengers and officials rushed for shelter. The Nepali finally was overpowered after a fierce struggle.
