FOWLER—WATSON

The wedding took place on Wednesday afternoon in St. Patrick's Church, 1 e Awamutu, of Miss Ruby Lavinia Watson, daughter of Mrs. G. Jeffs, of le Awamutu, to Mr. Reginald Fowler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Fowler, also of Tc Awamutu. .The Rev. Father O'Flynn performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her stepfather, Mr. G. Jeffs, wore a" gown of ivory moire. The corsage was close-fitting and the long skirt showed tho uneven hemline. The veil of Brussels net was caught on either side with clusters of orange blossom and fell to form a train. A bouquet of pale pink and white flowers was carried. Miss Rita Page was bridesmaid and wore a frock of pink figured georgette, with long panels and a blue felt hat to match. Iler bouquet was of blue and fawn floweis. In attendance as best man was Mr. Frank Woods. A reception was held at the Central Tearooms, the bride's mother receiving in a frock of biscuit lace and georgette, with black Bangkok hat. The biidegroom's mother wore black charmelaine with touches of white and a shaded felt hat.

BELL-CRAWFORD. The wedding was celebrated at All Saints' Church, Howick, on Tuesday afternoon of Miss Annie Innes Crawford, only daughter of Mrs. and the late Mi. John Crawford, of Howick, to Mr. Robert Allen Bell, youngest son of Mrs. and the lato Mr. Alexander Bell, of Pakuranga. The Rev. W. W. Avcrill, of All Saints Church, Ponsonbv, performed tho ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. John Crawford, wot 6 a* frock of pink satin and .silk net, fashioned on period lines. 'llto bndieo was of satin beaute, and the bouffant skirt was of tiny frills edged with finest satin ribbon. The embroidered tulle veil was caught into a, head cap, and held with orange blossom, from which it fell to form a train. She carried a shower bouquet, 0 f pink dahlias, carnations and maidenhair fern. Miss Myrtle Sheriff attended her cousin as bridesmaid, and wore a tiered frock of mauve taffeta, caught into a high waistline with a trail of flowers. Her hat of pastel felt was in shades of mauve And pink, and she cairied ft bouquet of pink and mauve dahlias. Little. Louise Crawford was flower girl, and wore a period frock of palo pink georgette. Her head-dress was of pink- tulle cawht with pink rosebuds, and she carried";) basket of pink roses. Mr. Douglas •Yndrew, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. Miss E. Wagstaff played tho wedding music. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residenco of the bride's mother, who wore a frock of black crone do chine rfeliOMd with fawn, and black hat with OSpreys. She carried a boquet of purple asters.
