IE AWAMUTU BRANCH. The monthly meeting of the commit Ire nf the Plunknt Society was held this week, Mrs. S. H. . Storey presiding. Tho nurses' report for the month of March showed 26 new cases. Visits to homes, 40; visits to rooms by rtdtilts, 175; babies, 153: fildor children, 28; total visits, 396. Telephone calls totalled 32; babies under supervision, 182; older children, 34. The secretary gave a. short description of tho provincial conference hold in Auckland in March, and outlined matters of interest to the branch, which were discussed. A rough draft of the report to he presented at tho next annual meeting Was submitted to, and approved by, tho committee, subject to some slight additions. Tho tenth annual general meeting of the. branch was fixed for May. Box donations for March (five weeks) totalled £2 7s 6d.
