OTAHUHU KINDERGARTEN.
CAMPAIGN FOR FUNDS. A meeting to consider the raising of funds for the Olahuhu Free Kindergarten ■was held on Wednesday evening, the 'Mayor of Otalnihu, Mr. T. Clements, presiding. Mr. Clements said that kindergartens in Olahuhu had developed to the stage when a suitable building was essential. He urged the launchim; of a campaign to raise the necessary funds.
i Mr. 0. J. Toriks, president ol the Auckland Kindergarten Association, traced the £ growth of the movement from its inception in 1089. Dr. Gladys Rowley, ihe juesulent of the local branch of the assocmtion, made a brief address in support tho appeal.
