MELMERLY SCHOOL.
Although Melmerly as a school has ceased to exist, past students who arc members of tho Old Girls' Club continue to meet at stated times during the year. This week the general meeting of the club was held, and plans were discussed for various activities. It was decided to make toys for children in hospitals and to provide a treat for the children in tho ward of Princess Mary Hospital, where the Melmerly Cot endowed bv the club in memory of the founder of Iho school, the late Mrs. Clayton, has been placed. The election of officers is as follows: President, Mrs. 11. B. Cruickshank; vicopresidents, Airs. E. R. Wright. Miss M. Dalton; secretary, Miss Ailsa McMillan; assistant secretary, Mrs. G. Lush; treasurer, Mrs. Duncan; committee, Airs. Roy Russell. Misses A. and D. Newton, Ailsa Howard, Grace Eraser and Phyllis Wright.
