THE HIKURANGI CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] "WHANGAREI, Friday. The annual general meeting of the Hikurangi Rugby Football Club was attended by an enthusiastic gathering. The coming season promises to be a record one for tho club, n»nd two senior tearns and one junior team will be entered in tho competitions. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr. A. Steele; president, Mr. W. Dickson; hon. secretary, Mr. E. J. Mac Donald; hon. auditor, Mr. J. Ryan j selectors, Messrs; R. Dickson, Mac Donald, and A. Steelo. Mr. R. Arneil was elected a life member of the club.

HUNTLY CLUB'S AFFAIRS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HUNTLY, Friday. The annual meeting of the Huntly Rugby' Football Club was held on Thursday evening, Mr. F. Harris presiding. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr. F. K. Hyde; president, Mr. F. Harris; treasurer and secretary, Mr. J. L. Simcock; club captain, Mr. F. J. Harris; lion, auditor, Mr. J. Porteous; delegates to the sub-union, Messrs. Hildebrand, F. Harris and Whorskey; executive, Messrs. Keleher, Hildebrand, Hyde, Strong, F. J. Harris, N. Yates and Father Curley; sole selectors, seniors, Mr. Hildebrand, juniors, Mr. F. Harris; club coach, Father Curley. It was decided that a strong recommendation bo made to tho meeting of delegates to the sub-unions, that there bo a solo selector for tho sub-union, and that if possible a third grade with weight limit bo formed.

TE AWAMUTU MEETING. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE AWAMUTU, Friday. Tho Rovers Rugby Football Club held its annual meeting on Thursday evening, Mr. Hugh Brown presiding. The report showed that last year the senior team won the Waipa Championship and the Ballistito Cup. Tho financial statement showed a credit balanco of £4. In© election of officers resulted: —Patron, Mr. L. G. Armstrong; president, Mr. F. E. Loomb; union delegate, Mr. H. Brown; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. O. Finch; auditor, Air. G. 11. Rodger; executive, Messrs. F. Waters, G. Narbey, C. Bowden, G. Tickelpennv, H. Brown, A. G. Wood, H. Mensforth, E. Storey and the team captains; club captain, Mr. G. Tickelpenny; team selectors, Messrs. A. G. Wood (seniors), W. Whitton (juniors) and W. Ryan (thirds). It was decided to nominate a team in each of tho three grades, and the club's representatives, Messrs. H. Brown and F. Tickelpenny, wero instructed to oppose any boundary restrictions at tho union annual meeting.

BRITISH TEAM'S TOUR. TERMS OF BRISBANE VISIT. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] "WELLINGTON, Friday. At a meeting of tho management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union a letter was received from tho Queensland Rugby Union asking for reduction upon the fifty-fifty terms asked for a visit of the British team to Brisbane. It was -lecided to inform the Queensland Union that if the Australian matches played by the British team showed a loss and the New Zealand matches a profit, the New Zealand Union would be prepared to review the terms. 'l'her Bay of Plenty Union applied for a match against tho British team at Kotorua. It was decided to reply that the itinerary had already been drawn up, but that the question of tho British team playing an unofficial game at Rotorua would be placed before the visitors.
