DOROTHY'S NEW HOUSE.
I'm quite sure you'll enjoy playing this game. It doesn't matter how many join in it, though tho more tho merrier, of course.
First a leader is chosen, and he stands up while the other players sit in a ring. And the leader starts off "by addressing ono of tho players. Ho says: ' 1 Dorothy has a new house; what will you put in it for her?"
The player will perhaps answer, " A chair " or " a broom," or " a stove," or anything ho thinks of. Then the leader asks the same question of tho next player, and gets his answer. And so the game goes on right round the circle. Then the leader starts all over again at number one, and asks another question. This time ho may ask any question lie likes, but tho player must introduce the article he mentioned in the first round in his answer. For instance, if he said " a chair," then this time he must put chair in h : s answer. And it isn't so easy when a funny question is asked. For instance, the leader might say, "Do you like fruit?" and you've said "Chair"; then you think. " Goodness me, whatever can I answer ?". until 3*ou perhaps suddenly say, " Yes, I love it, and I eat it when I'm in a chair." You see the idea of the game, don't you? It will cause a lot of fun.
