MISSING POSTMAN.
DIVER DESCENDS MINESHAFT
BODY NOT DISCOVERED
LONDON, Feb. 20
In connection with the disappearance of a postman on Christmas Eve, an extensive search is being carried out in the Bonmahon district. The combing out of miles of bogland, excavations 'on the sea shore and the dragging of the mineshaft have failed to reveal the body.
The brought a diver from Liverpool and lowered him into the narrow and deep Ballinass Isle mineshaft. The diver reported that it was too dangerous to attempt diving operations, so the project was abandoned. . It is now considered that if the body is in the shaft it will never be' recovered.
