YESTERDAY'S WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN SOUTH.
Auckland.—The weather was dull and cloudy yesterday, the wind being light from the west-north-west.' Showers fell during the afternoon and evening and the conditions continued threatening last night. There was a slight fall in {,IS barometer in the afternoon, but it rose again in the evening. Christ church.—-The weather yesterday was dull and threatening in the forenoon but the afternoon was clear and bright and much warmer. There was a light breeze from the east which changed in the evening to the south-west and the weather again became cloudy and cooler. Dunedin.— Although conditions overnight were not very promising yesterday was bright and mild. The barometer has had a slight tendency to fall during the day but commenced to rise again in the evening. There was a light breeze from the south-east.
