AUCKLAND AERO CLUB.
The recent unpleasant weather has held u]) instructional work to some extent at the Auckland Aero Club during the week, but two pupils, Messrs. 11. D. W. Tanner and J. N. Stevenson went solo on Monday. No. 2 hangar has recently been extended to hold more machines, and also to provide a refreshment room for the use of visitors and members. There is now accommodation for 10 planes at the Mangere Aerodrome. It is probable also that alterations will be made to No.l hangar during tho coming week, in order to provide larger offices and store-rooms. It has been decided to graze sheep instead of cattle on the club's land in future.
