If you havo two of tho old-fashioned round carpet covered hassocks, why not use them to mako a pouflo'! To do this, stitch them together firmly with strong thread. Then stand them in tho middle of a square of canvas, largo enough for tho corners to meet at tho top, and fasten them down. Tie a piech of twine tightly around (ho waist. The pouffo is then ready to be covered with material, suitable in colour and texture, to tho furnishing of the room in which it will be uscd„
