FREESIAS.
Freosias thrive so well and in many instances become so naturalised that there is no necessity to speak specially regarding their cultivation excepting to keep the improved varieties from becoming mixed with the original species. To produce the finest flowers an annual selection and the replanting of the largest and soundest bulbs is desirable. Freesias may bo allowed to increase and become naturalised. By this means waste rocks and other plots may be made most attractive when the pjants are a carpet of sweet blossoms.
