Miss Jean Sandav, of Puddington. Cheshire, a keen point-to-point rider and huntswotnan, made racing history at Haydock Park a few weeks ago, when she mounted her father's,, riderless horse, The Breezer, which had fallen and thrown its jockey, finished the course and was officially placed second. It. was a sudden inspiration to ' carry on ' and finish the race with The Breezer that prompted mo to mount him, although I was dressed in ordinary clothes. 1 just love The Breezer. I usually ride him to hounds. " I did not think they would allow nic to weigh out, but Mr. Hancock, the clerk of the scales, said it would bo quilo in order so long as I was over the specified weight."
