; , , HOBART, Feb. 15. Dr. William Hayden, who has been Roman Catholic Bishop of WilcanniaForbos sinco 1918, has been appointed Archbishop of Hobart.
The new Roman Catholic Archbishop of Hobart, Dr. William Hayden, was born at Kilkenny, Ireland/ on March 15 1868. Ho was educated at St. Kioran's Colloge, Kilkenny, and' the College of the Propaganda, Rome. He was a priest in tho archdiocese of Sydney until September 8. 1918, when lie was consecrated Bishop of Wilcannia-Forbes by Archbishop M. Kelly in St. Mary's Cathedral, Sydney.)
