ATTEMPTED MURDER CASE.
MAORI APPEARS IN COURT. Charged with tho attempted murder of Timi Ahurangi, as James Davidson, at Paearuhe, neir To Kuiti, Kono Pairama appeared in tho Police Court yesterday before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M. Pairama was described as a farrn<-r, nged 30. His arrest followed tho wounding of his nephew, Davidson, in the groin /on ' Monday last. Accused was lodged in Mount Eden gaol following the tilting of a special Court at tho To Kuiti Hospital. On the application of Chief-Drtectivo Hammond, Pairama was remanded to appear next Monday.
