The Executive Council met in Wellington to-day. The meeting was notable faf tho fact that, it was tho last ordinary meoi* ing of the Council to be attended by tbs Governor-General, Sir Obarles son, prior to his departure from Newi Zealand.
Subsequently tho Minister of Landsg Hon. G. W. Forbes, asked His Excellency, to accept for himself and Lady Alica Fergusson an album of New Zealand views, with the kindest sentiments of fcbs Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, and his colleagues. .
