SURPRISE FOR OCCUPANTS.
DISCOVERY UPON RETURN.

NEW PLYMOUTH, Friday
A new house in Leith Road, Okato, was destroyed by fire last night. The house was owned by Mr. L. H. McCabe. The.occupants came into New Plymouth for the evening and returned to find only the chimneys standing. The house and outbuildings, which were all destroyed, were insured for £SOO.
