Massage is as important for the health jas ejercise and water. A sharp rub down ,-writh a rougli towel after the morning fcath puts the finishing touch to a beneficial habit. Everyone who experiences the glow caused by such a rubbing knows Dne of the secrets of maintaining good health.
A sedentary life makes the muscles tight fend useless. It is an excellent plan to have a five-minute rub down night and piornirig when it is impossible to obtain *nv exercise. This friction tones up the body and Ihe mind. Muscles respond to the stimulant and become flexible, which invigjrates the whole system. A course of brisk massage before going to bed is an effective and harmless ture tor insomnia. Tho skin constantly sheds dried up particles. Bathing removes them, but robbing and massage thoroughly clean tho £ores. / They also improve the complexion. The constant movement of the skin, as the hand or towel passes over the surface, frees large anil ugly pores from dirt. Morning debility is a common complaint arising from lack of a thorough stimulant to restore strength and brightness to the ibodv. An inactive life often results in constipation, and one way of banishing it Js by massaging the stomach muscles every day. ..... , Loss of appetite is a sure sign that tho stomach is out of order. It can bo cured by a few simple exercises and a hard rub 'down in the morning and at night.
