Mr. Francis Francis, a young millionaire Subaltern in tho Royal Hwse Guards, who inherited a great fortune while a boy of fifteen at Rugby School, has sacrificed his n.rmy career for " love at first sight," and is to marry Miss Sunny Jarmann, tho musical comedy comedienne, of "Hold Everything " fame.
Tho rule of the Guards that no officer ishall marry an actress has again been enforced, and Mr Francis has sent in his papers, although his futuro wife has decided to leave the stag*). Ho > was interviewed at a Liverpool theatre recently. " I do not wish to comment on this rule that bans actress wives," he said. "It is a rule, and so I accept it. - I have written to, my colonel about my engage ment, and I am definitely leaving the Guards. lam prepared to give np my army career. •
