CHICHESTER IN INDIA.
EN ROUTE TO CALCUTTA.
(Received January 16, 10.55 p.m.) KARACHI, Jan. 16,
Mr. F. C. Chichester, the New Zealand airman who is flying t'o Australia, reached Karachi from Slhahbar late on Tuesday evening. He was very tired, J)ut continued his journey to Calcutta. It was expected that he would reach Calcutta at midday, but there has been no news since he left Karachi. FLIGHT ABANDONE.D. SINGH RETURNS TO LONDON. PARIS, Jan. 15. The Indian airman Singh, whose aeroplane was damaged at Noyon on his attempted flight to India, returned to London by an air mail liner.
