TARANAKI TRAGEDY.
THREE PERSONS DROWNED.
TWO CHILDREN AND MOTHER,
DISCOVERY BY HUSBAND.
BOYS* BODIES IN CREEK

A triple drowning tragedy occurred at Oeo, in South Taranaki, this afternoon, the victims being Mrs. D. Zimmerman, aged about 30 years, and her two boys, one aged three years and the other six months.
The bodies of the boys were found in a creek about a chain from Mr. Zimmerman's farmhouse, and Mrs. Zimmerman's borly was discovered floating in a small dam 60 chains away. Mr. Zimmerman, who had been sharemilking for Mr. Charles Muggeridge, left the house at about 10 a.m. with his brother for Mr. Muggeridge's other farm. On their return the house was seen to ba empty and there was no sign of the midday meal having been prepared.
The husband's fears were aroused and a search was immediately made. The bodies oi the children were found in shallow water where fcheroi was evidence of a struggle for life. Pursuing the search the men found Mrs. Zimmerman's body in a dam for storing water used for driving the milking plant.
