A well-known taxi-proprietor, Mr. William Livingstone, of Cookson Street, Kaiapoi, aged 54, died suddenly in the street near his home last evening. At one timo he was recognised as one of the Dominion's best long-distance runners and was prominent in professional athletic circlc3 over 20 years ago.
