PANSY FACES.
Pansy faces look up at me, And I look down at them, When all at once I think I seo On each tiny twisted stem, A fairy clad in <1 cloth of gold, Just as they were in the days of old. I stare down at them, And they stare up at me, And with inquiring faces ask why I cut off their heads with my bright new scissors, And murmur " We don't want to die." (Original.) By Lorna -linlayson, 6, Ladies' Mile, Remuera,.Auckland (age 10).
